Terms
The agreement between you and Macromello
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Macromello and everything it offers — the website, the analysis, the reports, and any related services. By creating an account or using Macromello, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
We've written these Terms to be as clear as we can. They're a real agreement, but they shouldn't need a lawyer to understand.
What Macromello provides
Macromello produces AI-generated geopolitical and macroeconomic research designed to help you understand how world events may affect markets and investments. It draws on historical patterns to surface structured scenario analysis, context, and things to watch.
What Macromello provides is information and research for your own consideration — nothing more. You decide what to do with it.
Not financial advice
This is the most important thing to understand: Macromello does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing it produces is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.
Our analysis is general in nature, may be incomplete or wrong, and does not account for your personal circumstances, goals, or risk tolerance. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before acting. For the full picture, please read our disclaimer.
Your account
To use most features you'll need an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date
- Keep your account secure and not share access with others
- Be responsible for everything that happens under your account
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use
You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country to use Macromello.
Acceptable use
We want Macromello to stay useful and safe for everyone. You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful or fraudulent
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the service or its security
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the analysis without our permission
- Misrepresent Macromello's output as personalized advice to others
We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or put others at risk.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Macromello offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Except during the 14-day cooling-off period described below, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — your plan stays active until then, and payments already made are not refunded.
Prices and plan features may change. When they do, we'll give you reasonable notice, and changes won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for.
Your 14-day right to cancel (cooling-off period)
When you start a new paid subscription you have a 14-day cooling-off period, counted from the day the subscription starts. During these 14 days you may cancel and withdraw from the agreement without giving a reason, in line with EU consumer law.
By subscribing, you expressly ask us to make Macromello available to you straight away — that is, during the cooling-off period — and you agree to this. Here is what it means for your money:
- If you cancel within the 14 days, we end your subscription immediately and refund the unused part of what you paid, in proportion to how much of your plan you have already used. For plans with a set number of reports, this is based on the reports you have not yet used; for plans with unlimited reports, it is based on the time remaining. The refund includes any VAT and is returned to your original payment method; it may take a few days to appear.
- What you have already used is not refunded. Because you asked us to start straight away, the reports you have already generated — or, on a plan with unlimited reports, the access you have already enjoyed — are a service you have already received. Their proportional value is kept and is not refunded to you.
- After the 14 days, this right ends. You can still cancel at any time, but the cancellation then takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and payments already made are not refunded.
For example, if your plan includes 10 reports and you have generated 3 of them when you cancel, you are refunded roughly 7/10 of what you paid, and the 3/10 for the reports you have already used is kept.
Intellectual property
Macromello, including its analysis, software, and design, belongs to us and is protected by law. While your subscription is active, you may use the output for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not claim it as your own, resell it, or strip it of attribution.
Anything you submit to the service remains yours, but you grant us the permission needed to operate the service and generate your analysis.
No warranties
Macromello is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise that the analysis will be correct, complete, current, or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Macromello and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any investment losses or decisions made in reliance on the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Macromello evolves. When we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
